Continuing with its trend to launch on national dates, Discovery Networks added two new channels to the Discovery bouquet on January 26, 2010 -- Discovery Turbo and Discovery Science. With this, the number of channels in the Discovery Network goes to five. An official communiqué quoted that for starters, Discovery would launch these two channels only on the direct to home platform with Tata Sky but will soon be available on both analog and digital platforms across the country. Rahul Johri, Senior Vice President and General Manager - India, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, spoke to exchange4media on the two channels.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit launched GovernanceNow, a fortnightly magazine and a daily website www.governancenow.com from Sri Adhikari Brothers Group through the Governance Now Forum, at an event in Delhi on January 27, 2010. The magazine is priced at Rs 50. BV Rao is the Editor of the magazine, while Ajay Singh is the Managing Editor. The magazine has been launched by SAB Group, which is a pioneer in the media industry and has 25 years of successful existence.
