Polycab Sees 24.7% Profit Growth in Q4 FY26 Amid Strong Revenue Rise

- Polycab India reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 8,864.48 crore for Q4 FY26, a 16.1% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 26.9% rise year-on-year.

The company posted consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 8,864.48 crore in Q4 FY26, marking a 16.1 percent rise quarter-on-quarter from Rs 7,636.13 crore and a 26.9 percent increase year-on-year from Rs 6,985.80 crore.
Total income stood at Rs 8,924.90 crore, up from Rs 7,686.58 crore in Q3 FY26 and Rs 7,033.87 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Profit after tax came in at Rs 785.60 crore, rising 24.7 percent sequentially from Rs 630.17 crore and 7 percent year-on-year from Rs 734.36 crore.
Meanwhile, total expenses increased to Rs 7,875.61 crore from Rs 6,844.39 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 6,073.31 crore a year earlier, primarily driven by higher material costs.
For the full year FY26, Polycab India’s advertising and sales promotion expenditure rose 57.3 percent to Rs 190.23 crore, compared to Rs 120.94 crore in FY25.
Revenue from operations for the year increased 28.9 percent to Rs 28,883.79 crore from Rs 22,408.31 crore in the previous fiscal, while profit after tax grew 32.4 percent to Rs 2,708.43 crore from Rs 2,045.53 crore.
The company’s FY26 performance highlights robust growth in both revenue and profitability, supported by increased investments in brand-building initiatives.
Segmental Business
Polycab India’s wires and cables business remained the primary growth driver in the March quarter, while its fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) segment also delivered strong performance.
Revenue from the wires and cables segment rose 29 percent year-on-year to Rs 7,762.01 crore in Q4 FY26 from Rs 6,019.07 crore, and increased 13.3 percent sequentially from Rs 6,852.63 crore.
The FMEG business posted revenue of Rs 663.14 crore, registering a 39.3 percent year-on-year increase from Rs 476 crore and a 32.7 percent quarter-on-quarter rise from Rs 499.78 crore, reflecting robust demand across consumer-focused categories.
Meanwhile, the EPC business reported revenue of Rs 509.80 crore, down 15.4 percent from Rs 602.83 crore in the year-ago period, though it recorded a sequential growth of 25.3 percent from Rs 406.90 crore.
On a consolidated basis, total segment revenue stood at Rs 8,934.94 crore for the quarter, up 15.2 percent sequentially and 25.9 percent year-on-year. After accounting for inter-segment revenue adjustments, total income excluding finance income came in at Rs 8,875.11 crore, compared with Rs 7,635.99 crore in the December quarter and Rs 6,992.11 crore in the corresponding period last year.
