Shekhar Swarup appointed Chief Executive Officer at Globus Spirits

Shekhar Swarup will continue as Joint Managing Director while assuming the additional role of CEO

Globus Spirits has named Shekhar Swarup as its Chief Executive Officer, the company said in a regulatory filing. The appointment, approved by the Board, is effective March 5, 2026. Swarup will continue as Joint Managing Director while taking on the additional CEO role under the Key Managerial Personnel category.

The company added that Swarup will serve as CEO alongside his role as Whole-time Director to accurately reflect the current organisational structure and ensure regulatory transparency.

“To accurately reflect the current organisational structure and ensure regulatory transparency, Shekhar Swarup, who currently oversees the company’s strategic vision, culture and high-level operations, has been formally designated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the category of Key Managerial Personnel,” the filing stated.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Swarup has been associated with Globus Spirits for more than 17 years. He has served as Joint Managing Director since February 2017 and is based in Delhi. Earlier, he was Executive Director at the company from October 2011 to January 2017.
