Industry leader Yazdi Sodawaterwala passed away last week. Yazdi Sodawaterwala was the Head of Distribution and Marketing at Telebrands India. During his career, he had worked across various media and entertainment companies.
Remembering Yazdi, Dr. Kushal Sanghvi posted a heartfelt note on LinkedIn.
“For many of us in media and those who remember working or partnering “Telebrands” as a concept on television would surely be familiar with Yazdi Sodawaterwala. We unfortunately lost him earlier this week. This one’s yet another untimely loss for the industry and it’s just disturbing to continually see young people leave the industry and it’s definitely getting scary with perhaps the lifestyles that we live”, his LinkedIn post read.

“He had worked across various media and entertainment companies, playing a pivotal role in a concept that was very popular once, much before ecommerce got mainstream and there’s still a ton of local and international brands, especially in the health and wellness domain that use this channel for their distribution.
