Sanjiv Mehta joins Dr Reddy's Laboratories board
Sanjiv Mehta announced on LinkedIn that he has joined as a Non-Executive Independent Member of the pharma company's Board of Directors
Former Hindustan Unilever (HUL) CEO and MD Sanjiv Mehta has announced that he has joined Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited as a Non Executive Independent Member of their Board of Directors. Mehta disclosed the development on LinkedIn, saying that he has already attended his first set of board meetings at the pharmaceutical company.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is a Hyderabad-based multinational pharmaceutical company founded by Kallam Anji Reddy. The company specialises in a wide range of pharma products which are marketed in India and abroad.
Mehta is the former CEO and Managing Director of HUL, one of the largest consumer goods companies in India. He was associated with the company for over 30 years, stepping down in June 2023.
He is also on the board of multinational food-products corporation Danone and Air India Limited.
