Media veteran Nilesh Thakkar launches professional gaming platform iGame League
Thakkar is a media veteran with more than two decades of experience and has worked with some of the well known organisations like Star, Gujarat Samachar and TV9.
A new professional gaming platform has been launched which can be played offline and online. The new initiative is the brainchild of Devesh Gupta and Nilesh Thakkar, while the other founding members are Susanta Dutta and Nishith Maheshwari.
Thakkar confirmed the news to exchange4media. He also mentioned that their start-up was valued at Rs 70 crore before entering the market.
Thakkar is a media veteran with more than two decades of experience and has worked with some of the well known organisations like Gujarat Samachar (GS TV) as Director, Sales and Marketing, Manorama, Abhiyaan, Chitralekha, Zee, Star News (now ABP News), Star Ananda, Star Majha, and TV 9. He turned to entrepreneurship few years back with the launch of his real estate venture ‘The real media people’.
