MobiKwik turned profitable in FY24 with 59% jump in total income: Founders

Indian payment service provider MobiKwik, which was founded in 2009, has turned profitable in FY2024, announced Upasana Taku, the co-founder of the company.
Taku took to LinkedIn to announce that the payment platform has hit a major milestone with a Profit After Tax of Rs 14.08 crore and a total income of Rs 890.32 crore, a 58.7% jump in total income.
“It took 15 years of relentless hard work to see the stats we see today. 15 years of tirelessly building and innovating for Bharat, making significant advancements in our products, and expanding our reach into every corner of the country. Today, more than 150 million users trust us, and we’ve touched countless lives by empowering them financially with our services. I am grateful to them, as they play a crucial role in making our milestone a reality.
“But it’s still Day One for us—just the beginning. We’ve stepped into the new financial year with a determination to keep this momentum going.
“We are clear: we will continue to upscale and innovate our products, empower more lives, and stay true to our strengthened belief in our mission—financial inclusion. Here’s to an even better FY25 and many more milestones ahead!” she wrote.
MobiKwik is a digital banking platform that offers a range of financial products for both consumers and merchants, including payments, digital credit, and investments, by leveraging big data analytics and deep data science.
Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Taku, MobiKwik has 156 million registered users (as of 31 March 2024).
