National Creators Award: Kabita’s Kitchen bags Best Creator in Food Category honour
The National Creators Award recognizes the excellence and creativity of digital creators across domains
Kabita Singh, a popular YouTuber who runs ‘Kabita’s Kitchen’, was awarded the Best Creator in the Food Category at the recently held National Creators Award. Singh, a housewife, became a digital entrepreneur with her popular and easy recipes and tutorials.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the first-ever National Creators Award to digital influencers on March 8 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
While receiving the award, Kabita Singh stressed the importance of cooking as a key life skill. She also said schools should sensitize the students about agriculture so that they realize the importance of food and avoid wastage. Kabita Singh’s YouTube channel has 13.7M subscribers at present, a remarkable feat for any YouTuber. On Instagram, Kabita Singh has 1.5M followers.
Apart from Kabita Singh, several other popular digital creators like Maithili Thakur, Shraddha Jain, Aman Gupta, Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps), Drew Hicks, Kamiya Jani, Gaurav Chaudhary aka Technical Guruji, among others were honoured for their creativity and outstanding work.

Kabita began her entrepreneurial journey in November 2014 by starting her YouTube channel named ‘Kabita’s Kitchen’ where she posted simple recipes that can be made by anyone.

It is an effort to recognize excellence and impact across domains, including storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming among others. The award is envisioned as a launchpad for using creativity to drive positive change.
