Speaking about this show Misra said “It’s a concept that has never been tried before; at least in India. The show will bring together storytelling with music. Many songs that will feature in the show will be from my band ‘Band called Nine’ and from our upcoming album ‘Rewind’. Every day I will narrate a story about an imaginary city created by me, called ‘Yaad Sheher’. The tale of the imaginary city will be interspersed with songs.
This innovative show on Big FM will be broadcast across 35 cities and syndicated abroad. It will target metros like Mumbai and Delhi as well as smaller cities such as Srinagar. Misra further said, “The show will encompass and evoke sensibilities of both the worlds. It will induce a feeling of nostalgia and longing for this imaginary city. Our first show was ‘Diwali ki Raat’, which spoke about a man who could not go back home. The story was a lucid representation of urban loneliness.”
