Match making portal Shaadi.com recently launched a new short film on the occasion of Karwa Chauth as a part of its ‘#FastForHer’ campaign.
The film opens with a woman getting upset with her husband for coming home late on Karwa Chauth while she is waiting for him to break her fast. The film takes a turn when she realises that her husband has also been fasting all day for her. That’s when her husband goes ‘from Zero to Mr.Hero’.
Shaadi.com launched the ‘#FastForHer’ campaign in 2014 with an objective to make women feel special on ‘Karwa Chauth’ by building equality in marriage. The campaign had the husband creating a video with him holding an empty plate and making a pledge to fast for his wife on Karwa Chauth. Popular personalities like Chetan Bhagat, Varun Badola, Hiten Tejwani, Sulaiman Merchant were a part of it.
