Shalini Behl has been appointed as Channel Head, What's On India. Prior to this, she was with Reliance Big TV, where she had handled revenue function of VAS services and was responsible for launching all the interactive services on the platform.
Shalini Behl has been appointed as Channel Head, What's On India. Prior to this, she was with Reliance Big TV, where she had handled revenue function of VAS services and was responsible for launching all the interactive services on the platform.
At What's On India, Behl will be managing the programming, distribution, marketing, and on air functions, apart from day to day running of the channel.
On her new role, Behl said, "The concept of a TV guidance channel is very new in India and the possibility of doing new things is what drew me to What's On India. This is a refreshingly new role, very different from what I have done in the past.”
In Behl's 15-year old career, she has worked on various roles from ad agencies to media marketing, content acquisition and revenue functions across industries. In the past, she has also worked with channels such as Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Channel.
