The recently launched Bollywood channel UTV Stars has appointed Rickshaw for its creative duties. Rickshaw is taking on the creative mandate for the channel starting with the campaign of the channel’s two driver shows – ‘Live My Life’ and ‘Up, Close and Personal with PZ’. Taproot India is the incumbent agency.
UTV Stars, the newly launched Bollywood channel from the Broadcasting division of UTV, has roped in Taproot India and Motivator as its creative and media agencies, respectively. A campaign is slated to go on air from August 1, 2011, which will span various platforms such as TV, web, mobile and on ground.

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has released its Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) decision report for the month of September 2010 on the ads that were either withdrawn or modified. A total of 10 ads had been brought under its scanner, of which five ads were withdrawn while five ads were not upheld by the CCC.
