Airtel's Chief Product Officer Anand Chandrasekaran quits
Chandrasekaran was with Airtel for 13 months. Prior to Airtel, he was working for Yahoo
Anand Chandrasekaran, Airtel’s Chief Product Officer has put in his papers after 13 months. According to media reports, he has confirmed his resignation saying he wants to pursue entrepreneurial interests. Reports also suggest he is currently serving his notice period and will be with the company till June 10, 2015.
Prior to working with Bharti Airtel, Chandrasekaran was working with Yahoo on Yahoo Mobile, Yahoo Answers, online mapping, Yahoo Travel and the Yahoo Search businesses.
Chandrasekaran has a PG in electrical engineering from Stanford University. After graduating from Stanford University in 2001, he co-founded Aeroprise, one of the early innovators in personalized mobile applications software.
