The Delhi High Court has reportedly instructed Baba Ramdev to retract claims of Patanjali's Coronil being a "Covid cure" within three days.

The directive comes amid increasing scrutiny towards Patanjali products and their ads, which have landed the company in the crosshairs of the Indian Medical Association.

Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani reportedly passed the order in response to a plea, which is a part of a lawsuit filed by doctors in 2021 against Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, the MD of Patanjali Ayurveda.

The bench has asked Ramdev to remove the contentious claims from social media. If they fail to remove the content, social media intermediaries will intervene and take down the same.
