Starcom Mediavest Group's (SMG) Malaysia office, together with India's SMG Convonix has won AirAsia Berhad's search marketing business across 16 markets in Asia Pacific.
The markets include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Brunei and India. The win comes after a multi-agency pitch.
Spencer Lee, AirAsia Head of Commercial, said, "We are pleased to appoint SMG as our Global Search Agency and look forward to embark on a great partnership. The selection was based on strong technical and process skills and SMG's capability to understand our nature of business in great depth.”
