Butterflies are made in heaven: Nita Joshi, rest in eternal peace
Nita Joshi will now be a memory that l hold precious and with deep respect, writes Sunil Lulla
All beautiful things created by Nature spread happiness. Like the wings of a butterfly, spreading it across the horizon and to whosoever it may touch.
After the butterfly has flitted away, it leaves behind a trail of its beauty in one’s memory. The desire to hold it remains unquenched.
Nita Joshi is the human form of a butterfly. She spread happiness and color with her natural smile and her genuine interest in building careers for individuals and her desire to create happy organizations for companies.
She along with the wonderful Abha Kapoor set up K&J Associates. MTV was privileged to be one of its founder clients. Thereafter they grew the massive bench strength of indya.com, followed by SONY Entertainment Television, Times Network, REAL Entertainment, GREY Group. For me personally, who has always been very people & talent focused, they have helped find perhaps more than 350 wonderful people, each of them growing to be successful.
In turn, K & J found great jobs and built great careers for these individuals. The mantra was simple. Find great people. Find and fit the right people for their client. They never compromised. We had many passionate arguments over briefs, people, careers, structure, compensation. Nita was always the calming voice in Abha, the HR leader, and my combine.
I have a sadness and an emptiness I have not felt personally, as I tend to be ‘almost clinical about life’s events. It is the wonderfulness of Nita Joshi which will now be a memory, that l hold precious and with deep respect.
The people who she helped have each lit their candle and shared their prayer for peace.
But we may be comforted to know Nita the Angel will smile upon each of us, take away our worry and bless our lives.
