Prabhat Khaber celebrated its 40th anniversary celebration recently at Ranchi. The event saw the attendance of many industry stalwarts along with the former editor of the publication, Harivansh.
Prabhat Khabar a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal, was founded in August 1984 in Ranchi, in Bihar.
The newspaper has been at the forefront of reporting social issues and revealing scams, such as the Fodder Scam.
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the paper has also initiated a campaign to plant more trees to save lives titled “Paudha Lagaye, Jeevan Bachaye Abhiyaan.”
