Big FM Chennai gets new Station Manager
Subramanian Shankarnarayanan, Station Head of Big FM, Chennai, has quit. Zarine Jalil Menon, hitherto programming Head, Big FM, North, will succeed him as Station Manager. Menon will be reporting to Lakshimi Sharath, Regional Head and Vice-President, Big FM, South.

Subramanian Shankarnarayanan, Station Head of Big FM, Chennai, has quit. Zarine Jalil Menon, hitherto programming Head, Big FM, North, will succeed him as Station Manager. Menon will be reporting to Lakshimi Sharath, Regional Head and Vice-President, Big FM, South.
Commenting on her new role, Menon said, “My vision is to make Big FM the most successful and preferred FM station in Chennai.’’
Menon joined big FM in October 2006 after nearly six years with the Star Group. As Senior Executive Producer in Star, she handled production, creative and scripts for various soaps including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Son Pari. She was also actively involved in content planning, managing contests and tie-ups for various programmes of the channel.
Menon’s contribution has been considerable in the successful launch of six Big FM stations across North India.
