Big FM Chennai, in association with RMKV, a well-known textile outlet in Chennai, is organising a contest on weekends, wherein the FM station is paying the shopping bills of lucky customers shopping at the outlet from 12 pm to 8 pm.

Big FM has come up with this innovative tie-up with RMKV in the wake of the Aadi season in Chennai. Aadi is the time of the year when textile showrooms offer huge discounts for every purchase and is considered as the month for shopping by Tamilians.

Starting July 26, every Saturday and Sunday Big FM RJs would be present at RMKV and conduct a contest at the venue and select one lucky shopper who would be announced as the winner of the day and his/her shopping bills at RMKV would be paid by the FM station in association with RMKV. This activity will continue till August 10.

Commenting on this initiative, PB Ramaswamy, Cluster Director, Big FM, Tamil Nadu, said, “Big FM has always identified and associated itself with festivals and occasions celebrated by Tamilians, and as Aadi is the biggest vibe of the season currently, we want to celebrate it in a big way by gratifying our listeners and providing interesting content on air and on ground.”
