The exchange4media Group hosted the 16th edition of the exchange4media news broadcasting awards (enba) on Saturday, March 30 at The Imperial, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The glittering awards ceremony honoured the best of the best in the Indian broadcast news media industry. In the ‘Best Anchor- Hindi’ category, Sweta Singh, Managing Editor, Good News Today and Aajtak Programming, bagged the honour with a gold metal for her exemplary work in the news broadcasting space. Sumit Awasthi, Consulting Editor, NDTV India, won the silver metal while Sayeed Ansari, Executive Editor and Anchor, Aaj Tak and Jagwinder Patial, Journalist, ABP News, bagged the bronze metals for their outstanding work.

Meanwhile, India Today’s Shiv Aroor bagged gold in the ‘Best Anchor- English’ category, NDTV 24X7’s Vishnu Som & Marya Shakil and India Today’s Preeti Choudhry bagged a silver metal each for their outstanding work in the news broadcasting arena.

enba awards were given under seven broad categories – Programming, Personality, Marketing, Digital Media, International news, Overall Excellence and Special Awards which were further divided into several sub-categories. The awards were presented after a meticulous jury process by luminaries across the political, social, and business ecosystem.

At the spectacular awards ceremony, ABP Network CEO Avinash Pandey bagged the ‘CEO of the Year’ title. The other key winners of the night included Vineet Jain, Managing Director, Times Group, who was honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ while the ‘enba editorial maverick of the year 2023’ title was given to Supriya Prasad, News Director, Aaj Tak, India Today & GNT.
