Atul Chaudhary has been appointed as the Secretary of TRAI, as per media reports.
He will come in place of V. Raghunandan who retired on May 31.
The newly appointed Secretary, Chaudhary, served as the Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in a previous capacity.
In 2021, he also held the position at the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
Raghunandan's exit came after his 28 years of tenure.
