With an aim to provide real time information on various farming and agriculture related topics, the Government has set aside a sum of Rs 100 crore for the launch of Kisan Television.
Sharing his point of view on this announcement made by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his Budget speech, Punit Goenka, CEO and MD, Zee Entertainment Enterprises tweeted: ““Kisaan TV for farmer education was a good one!!”
