The 16th edition of the exchange4media news broadcasting awards (enba) was held on Saturday, March 30 at The Imperial, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The awards night honoured the best in the Indian broadcast news industry. At the awards night, Gunjan Dixit, Anchor & Producer, Good News Today, was named as the ‘Young Professionals of the Year- Hindi’ while Vedant Agarwal, Anchor & Correspondent, NDTV, bagged the ‘Young Professionals of the Year- English’ honour at enba 2023.
In the ‘Young Professionals of the Year- Hindi’ category, Priyanshi Chaudhary, Assistant Producer, ABP News was the first runner up while Anamika Gaur, Correspondent, Good News Today was the second runner up. The two special jury mention include Shreya Tiwari, Trainee, ABP News and Divyankar Tiwari, Reporter, ABP News. In the ‘Young Professionals of the Year- English category, Asawari Jindal, Producer & Anchor, NewsX, was the first runner up.
Enba recognizes the best in Television news and rewards broadcasters and industry leaders who are responsible for shaping the future of Television Broadcasting in India. The awards aim to celebrate excellence in television news within India and focus on acknowledging outstanding broadcasters and industry leaders.
The enba awards were given under seven broad categories – Programming, Personality, Marketing, Digital Media, International news, Overall Excellence and Special Awards which were further divided into several sub-categories. The awards were presented after a meticulous jury process by luminaries across the political, social, and business ecosystem.
