All the speculations and rumours about comedian-actor Kapil Sharma coming back on Sony TV can be laid to rest. Sharma is all set to make a comeback in March.
According to well-placed media sources, "The channel and Sharma had a meeting on February 5 and Sharma has shot the first promo of the show which will be out at the end of this month." The information about the format of the show has not been revealed but is reportedly launching in March.
As per the media reports, Sunil Grover is not expected to come back with Kapil Sharma. "The remaining cast of The Kapil Sharma Show will be a part of the series and there can be some new additions also. The title of the show has also not been finalized. Kapil and the makers are working hard to make this a bigger and better project," the report said.
Last year, the channel said that they both mutually agreed to take a break from The Kapil Sharma show. The show's ratings got affected by the rift between Sharma and Grover, after which several artists quit the show.
