Anchor and Senior Journalist Rubika Liyaquat, who was associated with ABP News for over five years and had joined Bharat 24 recently as Vice President, has quit.
Bharat 24's CEO & Editor in Chief Jagdish Chandra confirmed this development.
“The channel has accepted her resignation with a heavy heart. We respect her decision.. Rubika's tenure of almost 6 months at Bharat 24 has been wonderful, but at times Rubika naturally felt that the platform of Bharat 24, a startup channel, was relatively small for her”, said Chandra.
Liyaquat completed her graduation from Mumbai University and her media education from Futuristic Media Communication Centre (FMCC). She started her career in 2007 and has worked with media houses like News 24, Aaj Tak, Zee News, and Live India TV. She is known for her popular shows, Taal Thok Ke and Master Stroke.
