Sony slides to No. 6 in Week 34, Sab TV gains

Sony drops to No. 6 for the first time, recording a gross TVT of 292.6 mn in Week 34. Star Plus continues to top the GEC ranks in the HSM market, followed by Colors & Zee TV

Sony slides to No. 6 in Week 34, Sab TV gains

As per TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 34 (August 18 – August 24) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus retained its viewership and No. 1 position with a drop in TVT numbers. The channel recorded a gross TVT of 470 million and a relative share of 21.42 per cent (490 million TVT in Week 33).

Colors was at No. 2 with gross TVT of 436 million and relative share of 19.85 per cent (last week, 456 million TVT).

Zee TV recorded a gross TVT of 378 million and 17.21 per cent relative share in Week 33, (last week, 416 million TVT).

SAB TV jumped to No. 4 position with 295 million gross TVT and relative share of 13.45 per cent (293 million TVT in Week 33).

Life OK recorded gross TVT of 293.1 million in Week 34, as against last week’s 303 million TVT. The channel’s relative share was recorded at 13.36 per cent in Week 34.

Sony, meanwhile, dropped to No. 6 for the first time, recording a gross TVT of 292.6 million and 13.33 per cent relative share (last week, 349 million TVT).
