Churn in Dentsu India’s top creative rung as two ECDs quit

Naren Kaimal and Amardeep Singh, Executive Creative Directors at Dentsu India, have put in their papers. The duo had recently been appointed as national creative resource for all the three Dentsu companies in India and also Dubai. Their next destination is not known.

Naren Kaimal and Amardeep Singh, Executive Creative Directors at Dentsu India, have put in their papers. When contacted, the duo confirmed the development but refused to comment any further. Their next destination is not known.

It is learnt that recently the duo had been appointed as the national creative resource for all the three Dentsu companies in India and also Dubai. Last year, both Kaimal and Singh had joined Dentsu Communications as ECDs. At Dentsu, they worked on brands such as Toyota, Yamaha and Radico Khaitan, among others.

Singh has worked with Contract Advertising, McCann Erickson, Grey and Mudra, and has handled a diverse portfolio of brands including Domino’s, Motorola, NIIT, Bacardi, PVR Cinemas, Seagram’s and Microsoft.

Kaimal has worked with Mudra, RK Swamy BBDO, FCB Ulka and Dhar & Hoon besides a few other agencies. Prior to joining Dentsu, he had been freelancing for a year with various agencies. It may be recalled than Kaimal had played an important part in the making of the BPL campaign with Amitabh Bachchan and the ‘Namaste’ commercial of British Airways. He has worked on brands such as ICI Dulux, NIIT, HCL and JK Tyres, among others.
