Claudio Sforza joins Benetton Group as CEO

The Benetton Group has appointed Claudio Sforza as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sforza announced the news on LinkedIn. “Sono onorato di annunciare il mio nuovo ruolo come Amministratore Delegato di Benetton Group”, his LinkedIn post read.

The post in Italian roughly translates to, “I am honoured to announce my new role as Chief Executive Officer of Benetton Group”.

As per reports, Sforza was chief financial officer for Italy's postal services group Poste Italiane. He was also the CEO of the gaming company Gamenet.

In his previous stints, he was the Chief Operations Officer, in the administration of steelmaker Ilva.
