CP Surendran, Senior Editor, The Times of India, Gurgaon has put in his papers. His next destination is not known yet.

Surendran has worked as journalist in Mumbai with The Times of India, Times Sunday Review, and Bombay Times, among others. He was earlier Resident Editor of The Times of India, Pune for three years.

He is also a well-known novelist and poet. His first novel, ‘An Iron Harvest’, based on the Naxalite uprising, was published by Indiaink. He has also published three collections of poetry. A selection of his poems was included in Gemini II in 1994. He also published an independent collection of poems, ‘Posthumous Poems’, in 2000.
