Deepak Lamba joining BloombergUTV as Business Head
It is learnt from sources close to the development that Deepak Lamba is all set to join BloombergUTV as Business Head. He is currently serving his notice period as Director of Viacom Brand Solutions at MTV Networks India. Meanwhile, BloombergUTV is also on the lookout for a new sales head, who will be reporting to Lamba.
It is learnt from sources close to the development that Deepak Lamba is all set to join BloombergUTV as Business Head. He is currently serving his notice period as Director of Viacom Brand Solutions at MTV Networks India. Lamba is reportedly taking charge at BloombergUTV in January 2010.
No official confirmation could be obtained at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, it is also learnt that BloombergUTV is on the lookout for a sales head, who will report to Lamba.
Bloomberg and UTV collaborated for a joint venture in October this year and the channel was earlier known as UTVi. It may be recalled that a couple of months ago MK Anand was roped in as CEO to head the four entertainment channels – UTV Movies, UTV Bindass, Bindass Movies and UTV World Movies – offered by UTV Global Broadcasting. Shantonu Aditya had resigned as CEO of BloombergUTV last month.
