HUL’s Shreejit Mishra to join BCCL as CEO
Industry sources have confirmed to exchange4media that HUL’s Shreejit Mishra would be joining BCCL as CEO – Publishing.
Shreejit Mishra, who was hitherto with Hindustan Unilever Ltd, is said to be joining The Times of India Group as CEO–Publishing. Sources familiar with the development have confirmed this to exchange4media.
Mishra has not reverted to exchange4media’s queries on the matter. When contacted a week back, Ravi Dhariwal, CEO-Publishing, Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL), had denied the development, but Dhariwal too has not responded to exchange4media on the matter after that.
Sources reiterated that Mishra is slated to join the company soon. As is known, after serving almost 20 years at Hindustan Unilever, Shreejit Mishra, Executive Director (Foods), had moved out of the company a few days back. He had joined HUL in June 1987. His 20-year experience in the company comprised stints in General Management, Marketing Innovation and Activation, Brand & Services Development, Sales Management and Project Management.
