Mahima Kaul joins Netflix India as Director of Public Policy

Netflix India has roped in Mahima Kaul as its Director of Public Policy. Kaul made the announcement of her new innings at Netflix on LinkedIn.
“Absolutely delighted to have joined Netflix today to lead public policy in India - after considerable time spent in social media/apps, I am really excited about the challenges and opportunities ahead for OTTs and streaming services, and the broader (structural) policy work ahead of us. I know it's a very busy time - I'll be happy to reconnect with some of you who have been working in this area”, her LinkedIn post read.
Prior to this, Mahima Kaul was with Bumble as Director, Public Policy, APAC where she established Bumble's public policy function and priorities across this region. Razdan spearheaded Bumble's approach in Australia on dating app safety regulations like Voluntary Codes for Dating Apps; helped develop policy positions on AI-enabled harm, 'safety by design', and streamlined compliance across jurisdictions; represented Bumble in media.
In her previous stints, Mahima Kaul has worked with Twitter, Observer Research Foundation, among others.
