Mukesh Rajput moves on from Surya Samachar as its Editor-in-Chief

Rajput, who started his career in media with 'Doordarshan' in 1995, has nearly 29 years of experience working in the industry

Mukesh Rajput, editor-in-chief of Hindi news channel Surya Samachar, has resigned from his post. Mukesh Rajput himself confirmed this in a conversation with Samachar4Media. When asked about his new innings, Rajput said that he would be sharing it soon.

Rajput also left a message for his well-wishers on social media: 'Hello all of you, the time has come to end my journey as the editor-in-chief of Surya Samachar. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for your support and love. If God wishes, we will meet again and work together. Apologies for the mistakes made knowingly or unknowingly.' 

Rajput was associated with Surya Samachar since its re-launch. Prior to this, he has served as the editor of News18 Haryana and editor-in-chief of Khabrein Abhi Tak.

Rajput, who started his career in media with 'Doordarshan' in 1995, has nearly 29 years of experience working in this industry. He also had an illustrious run as the bureau chief in Sahara Samay, Voice of India, P7 News.
