Mid-Day has elevated Niranjan Vidyasagar as Head of Digital Business. He takes charge from Nirvan Biswas. Vidyasagar has been associated with Mid-Day in various capacities. His most recent stint was as Sales Head for Advertising Revenues for Mid-Day online.
Speaking on this development, Manajit Ghoshal, MD & CEO, Mid-Day Infomedia, said, “We have very ambitious targets for the website this year, and I am extremely confident that Niranjan in all his capabilities will lead us to the set goals.” Vidyasagar will be reporting directly to Ghoshal.
He has been working with Mid-Day for over five years now. On his new role, Vidyasagar said, “It has been a fulfilling and extremely rewarding experience to be part of the Mid-Day team. With newer and bigger responsibility, I look forward to leading and assisting the brand’s digital business in implementing winning strategies.”
