After spending little over a year with Chennai-based Radaan Mediaworks, Roy Joseph has rejoined Zee News as Vice-president, Operations from November 17.
Prior to joining Radaan Mediaworks, Joseph had been with Zee News since 1995 and was part of the team that brought out the first news bulletin from Zee in 1995. Several promotions later, he was elevated to VP-Operations, heading the news operations in early 2005. He quit Zee News to join Radaan Mediaworks in June 2005.
Commenting on his new assignment, Joseph said, “It is like homecoming. Zee Group would be foraying into the Marathi news genre by launching a news channel soon and I am excited to be part of that venture.”
‘Thanga Vettai’, started in all four South Indian languages during Joseph’s stint with Radaan Madiaworks, is one of the initiatives he cherishes most.
