Sanjay Samson quits Divya Bhaskar to join The Times Group

Sanjay Samson, Deputy General Manager, Marketing, Divya Bhaskar Group, has joined The Times Group as Head of Response, Mumbai, for Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times. He would be reporting to Ranjeet Kate, Deputy Director for Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.

Sanjay Samson quits Divya Bhaskar to join The Times Group

Sanjay Samson, Deputy General Manager, Marketing, Divya Bhaskar Group, has joined The Times Group as Head of Response, Mumbai, for Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times. He would be reporting to Ranjeet Kate, Deputy Director for Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.

Samson’s primary task at The Times Group would be to concentrate on achieving the long-term goals that the Group has set, and simultaneously handle branch offices in Mumbai.

Commenting on this development, Samson said, “I always wanted to work on a ‘proper’ brand in Mumbai for a long time. My experience with Divya Bhaskar was a very good learning experience, which would definitely help me in working for the upbringing of Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.”

Prior to Divya Bhaskar, Samson was Lokmat for more than a decade, and before that he has had a rich experience of working with The Indian Express brand. At Divya Bhaskar, Samson was responsible of handling the group’s advertising business and ensuring the group’s optimum utilisation of resources in terms of better productivity and profitability.
