Senior journalist Sanjay Singh joined IANS and assumed his responsibilities at the organisation on February 1, according to reliable sources. It is believed that he will play a big role in the editorial department.
Singh has about three decades of experience in media (print, digital, TV etc.). Before joining IANS, Singh was working in an analytics agency associated with media and news-related work.
He graduated from Delhi University, starting his career in media as a freelance journalist. After this, he joined Pioneer.
In his career so far, Singh has held various important posts in organizations like Statesman, Dainik Bhaskar, DNA, Firstpost and NewsX. Apart from this, he also participates in debate shows on various news channels.
