Shailesh Velandy puts in his papers at Mudra Max

Shailesh Velandy, Vice-President, Mudra Max has put in his papers after a three-year stint. Confirming the news to e4m, Velandy said, “A long solo travel plan is on the cards”.

Shailesh Velandy, Vice-President, Mudra Max has put in his papers after a three-year stint. He has been reporting to Pratap Bose, CEO, Mudra Max and COO, Mudra Communication.

Confirming the news to exchange4media, Velandy said that he would be with the agency till the end of April. He plans to take a sabbatical for some time and “a long solo travel plan is on the cards”.

At Mudra Max, Velandy was spearheading the agency’s newly formed digital media initiative. Prior to that, he was heading the strategic planning function at ‘Radar’ and was in charge of the media planning product for all Reliance ADAG brands.

His immediate experience was with start-ups on the media-client side, having developed a fatigue working with media agencies for around a decade before that. He was also associated at with Big FM, where he was the Cluster Head at the station, responsible for setting up stations in the western region, before assuming P&L responsibilities for the Gujarat market – Baroda, Surat and Rajkot. He was also the Business Head & National Sales at ‘Time Out’, where he had the responsibilities for the launch of the international magazine in India.

Velandy also has rich experience in media planning spanning a decade before this; his associations with advertising agencies include Enterprise, Lintas, Mediacom and Publicis India.
