Shivanand Mohanty quits Dentsu Communication

Shivanand Mohanty, National Creative Director of Bangalore-based Dentsu Communications has quit the organisation. His last day of work is May 31, 2011.

Confirming the development to exchange4media, Mohanty said, “I had a great innings at the agency for the seven and half years. And it was time to move on and look for something new.”

At Dentsu, Mohanty handled clients such as Acer, Aircel, Incredible India, Indian Oil, NACO, Panasonic, Toyota and Yamaha. He did not divulge details on what is next for him.

Prior to being the NCD, Mohanty was the Executive Creative Director for the agency, which he had joined at the time of the agency’s inception in October 2003. He started his advertising career in Interact Vision, Delhi, and then moved to Rediffusion - Y&R, where he spent eight years.

Just prior to Dentsu, Mohanty was with Impact BBDO, Dubai, where he was involved in the creative work for brands such as Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge.
