Tanya Dubash to lead brand management of Godrej Industries Group: Report
Nyrika Holkar will take on the same role for Godrej Enterprises Group
Following the split of the Godrej Group a few weeks ago, it has been reported that Executive Director Tanya Dubash will now lead brand management for Godrej Industries. Nyrika Holkar will take on the same role for Godrej Enterprises.
At the start of the month, the Godrej family announced an ownership realignment of their shareholdings in the Godrej Companies.
As per the split, Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) with Godrej & Boyce (G&B) and its affiliates will be controlled by Jamshyd Godrej, Chairperson and Managing Director, Nyrika Holkar, Executive Director, and their immediate families.
Godrej Industries Group (GIG), which includes the listed companies, Godrej Industries, Godrej Consumer Products, Godrej Properties, Godrej Agrovet and Astec Lifesciences will have Nadir Godrej as Chairperson and will be controlled by Adi Godrej, Nadir Godrej, and their immediate families.
“The realignment has been arrived at in a respectful and mindful way to maintain harmony and to better align ownership in acknowledgement of the differing visions of the Godrej family members. This will help maximize strategic direction, focus, agility, and will accelerate the process of creating long-term value for shareholders and all other stakeholders,” said the Group.
