Indian Deaf Cricket Association names Roma Balwani as CEO & brand custodian

Balwani will create a corporate structure, build the brand and serve on the advisory board of IDCA

Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA), the governing body for deaf cricket in India, has named Roma Balwani as CEO and brand custodian. Here, she will be creating a corporate structure, build IDCA as a brand as the apex body for Deaf Cricket from India. She will also serve on the advisory board of IDCA.

Balwani is a communications professional with over three decades of experience in the industry. She is also an Independent Director at John Cockerill, India, the leading manufacturing and engineering group specializing in cold rolling mill complexes for the Steel Industry and chairs the CSR and NRC committees.

Previously, she had also handled the 1st edition of Deaf-ICC World Cup T20 held between 23rd and 30th November 2018 in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Balwani has contributed to organisations such as Strategic Resources Group, Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Jombay, National Collateral Management Services Limited, Vedanta Resources Plc, Mahindra Rise, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Aptech Limited and eBookers plc, Oslo Norway.
