According to The Walt Disney Company Senior Executive VP & CFO Christine McCarthy, the subscriber growth is expected to accelerate in the fiscal’s second quarter
The average monthly revenue per paid subscriber increased from $0.78 to $1.20 due to higher per-subscriber advertising revenue, the company said
The total subscriber base of the top 13 cable and HITS operators increased to 45.81 million active subscribers from 45.55 million in the trailing quarter
The report also stated that the growth in Pay TV, Free TV & Connected TV shows that overall TV connections will keep growing at a pace of over 5% per year to cross 67% of Indian households by 2025
Overall, Disney+'s subscriber base has grown to 129.8 million from Rs 118.1 million in the trailing quarter
