Abby Awards 2024: Leo Burnett wins big on Day 3
Leo Burnett, Famous Innovations and Maitri Advertising Works win Grand Prix

Leo Burnett India swept the ABBY Awards on Day 3 of Goafest 2024, winning the top position in three of the five categories. They also bagged a Grand Prix.
Leo Burnett India was named the Creative Agency of the Year. It also won top spots in Brand Activation and Promotion, and Branded Content and Entertainment Specialist categories. Good Morning Films won the top position in Video Craft of the Year category and Havas Worldwide India was named the Health Specialist of the year.
A total of 73 media agencies participated in the last instalment of the 55th ABBY Awards.
In Creative Agency of the Year category, Leo Burnett won a Grand Prix for Spotify India’s Feel the Music campaign featuring Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in the category audio visual TV, cinema, digital, OTT below one minute. They also won four golds, eleven silvers and eight bronze metals as well as 15 merits to earn a total of 157 points. VML India bagged the second spot with two golds, three silvers, 15 bronzes and 11 merits earning 105 points in all. FCB Group India stood third with two golds, three silvers, eight bronzes and six merits to earn 72 points on the tally table.
The other two Grand Prix were won by Famous Innovations and Maitri Advertising Works. Famous Innovations won it for their out of home campaign for Mumbai Police titled Blockbuster Excuses. Maitri won it for Netflix’s promotion of the show Sex Education titled ‘Shakila’s Driving School’ in the category audio visual TV, cinema, digital, OTT above one minute.
For Brand Activation and Promotion, Leo Burnett India won one silver, three bronze and four merits earning them 22 points. Other organisations winning in this category were FCB Group India with a silver and a merit (7 points) and ABP Private Limited with one silver (6 points).
For Branded Content and Entertainment Specialist, Leo Burnett won one gold, three bronzes and four merits to earn 20 points. Digitas was the second biggest grosser with one silver, one bronze and one merit earning them eleven points. MTCH India Services won a gold and earned eight points.
Good Morning Films won two golds, two silvers, four bronzes and four merits earning a total of 48 points s to earn the top spot in the Videocraft of the year category. Vanilla Films was at the second spot with two silvers, five bronze and one merit to earn 33 points. Chrome Pictures, with two silvers, four bronzes and a merit and 29 points was at the third spot.
For the Health Specialist of the year, Hawas Worldwide Media took two silvers, one bronze and four merits to earn a total of 20 points to secure the first spot. With one silver, one bronze and a total of ten points, Mullenlowe Linyas Group attained the second spot. The third in this category was L&K Saatchi & Saathci won a gold to earn eight points.
