Amazon India returns after brief hiatus to rule BARC's Top 10 Brands @Week 32

Amazon India regained hold over BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 32 (August 5–11). It moved up to fifth spot in the Top 10 Advertisers for the same week.

After a brief hiatus, Amazon India regained hold over BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 32 (August 5–11) with 17,753 insertions. Previously, in week 28 (July 8–14), it led the category with 19,498 insertions.

 

Airtel Postpaid Promise, Axis Bank Credit/Debit card and Videocon D2H slipped to second, fifth and eighth spot with 11,364, 8867 and 8391 insertions, respectively.  

 

Dove Cream Bathing Bar and Close Up Ever Fresh retained its third and sixth spot with improved 10,590 and 8686 insertions, respectively.

 

Surf Excel Easy Wash moved up to seventh spot with 8547 insertions. 

 

Lux Toilet Soap, Dr Ortho Oil & Capsule and Horlicks entered the list at fourth, ninth and tenth spot with 9335, 7965 and 7931 insertions, respectively.  

 




In the Top 10 Advertisers list, Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser (India) and Procter & Gamble retained the top three spots with 1,66,297, 67,584 and 33,650 insertions, respectively.

 

Cadburys India, Amazon Online India and Patanjali Ayurved moved up to fourth, fifth and eighth spot with 27,080, 25,700 and 18,281 insertions, respectively. 

 

Brooke Bond Lipton India and Super Cassettes Industries slipped to sixth and tenth spot with 25,519 and 14,861 insertions, respectively.  

 

ITC Ltd retained its seventh spot with 25,256 insertions. 

 

Colgate Palmolive India entered the list after a brief hiatus at ninth spot with 16,657 insertions.
