Cannes 2015: Of 75 entries, only 1 Indian entry makes it to Direct Lions shortlist
In the Promo & Activation category, no Indian entry was shortlisted this year

India has only managed to bag one spot on the Direct Lions list this year. Out of a total of approximately 75 entries sent, only TBWA\India’s ‘Dreams on Swaddles’ campaign done for IDFC Mutual Fund has been shortlisted under the subcategory Targeted Ambient Media: Small Scale has made it to the list.
In the next set of shortlists at Cannes Lions 2015 for Promo & Activation category, no Indian entry was shortlisted this year.
Last year, the Direct Lions category has three Indian shortlists—two from McCann Worldgroup, and one from Ogilvy & Mather.
And in the Promo & Activation category, three Indian agencies ran for metal in the competition last year.
