To celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2012, the D&AD has launched an initiative called ‘White Pencil’. D&AD has invited Ogilvy’s Piyush Pandey to be the ambassador of this initiative.
The White Pencil is awarded to a creative idea that changes the world for the better; an idea that demonstrates the ability to influence real and positive change in the world. Launched in 2011, the first competition will bear fruit in 2012.
In another development, Pandey has also been invited by Berlin School, where he has been faculty for last two years, to be Godfather of Piyush Pandey Class. An honour such as this has been bestowed in the past to creative visionaries such as John Hegarty.
