Dentsu Communications wins creative duties of Acer
Acer India has decided to awards its creative duties to Dentsu Communications, Bangalore. The reported account size of the business is Rs 20 crore.
Dentsu Communications, Bangalore, has been mandated the creative duties for Acer India, following a multi-agency pitch. Sources inform that the other three agencies in the fray were Orchard, Contract and Rediffusion DY&R. The media duties of the business continue to be with Madison India. The reported size of the business is Rs 20 crore. The incumbent on the business is Orchard Advertising.
Neither Acer officials nor the agency offered any comments at the time of filing the story. However, sources familiar with the development inform that the move took place some time ago and it is learnt that the new creatives featuring Hrithik Roshan have also broken in a few markets already.
Acer India (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Acer Computer International Ltd on September 9, 1999. Acer India has its headquarters in Bangalore, with branch offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nagpur, Cochin, Guwahati and Chandigarh.
