ET's Yatish Rajawat joins BusinessWorld as Associate Editor

K Yatish Rajawat, Editor, Knowledge and Technology, The Economic Times, is joining BusinessWorld as Associate Editor by March end, 2007. He will be overlooking the overall content of the publication.

Following the recent changes in BusinessWorld's top management, where Jehangir Pocha, who was representing BusinessWorld in China, was brought in as the new Editor following Tony Joseph's departure, the publication has now roped in a new Associate Editor.

K Yatish Rajawat, Editor, Knowledge and Technology, The Economic Times, will be the new Associate Editor. Rajawat has been with ET for seven years now and was based in Mumbai. He will assume his new role by March end, 2007 and would be overlooking the overall content of BusinessWorld. Rajawat will now be based in Delhi.

Rajawat has spent almost 14 years in the industry. Prior to ET, he was with Hindu Business Line. Rawajat holds an MBA degree. He was awarded the Madhu Valluri Foundation instituted IT Journalist of the Year Award in 2002.

Confirming the development and divulging more on his reasons to join BusinessWorld, Rajawat said, "BusinessWorld has the finest team of journalists in the country and is the largest business magazine in the country too. This is one of the reasons I chose to join the publication."

As is known, some of the other recent changes at BusinessWorld include that of Prosenjit Datta becoming the Consulting Editor in addition to his role at The Telegraph.
