Max Bupa appoints Bates 141 as its creative partner

Following a multi-agency pitch, Max Bupa, a new entrant in the health insurance sector, has decided on its creative partner. After a tough pitch spanning two months, the company has assigned its creative mandate to Bates 141. Industry sources have pegged the account size at upwards of Rs 10 crore.

Following a multi-agency pitch, Max Bupa, a new entrant in the health insurance sector, has decided on its creative partner. After a tough pitch spanning two months, the company has assigned its creative mandate to Bates 141. Though the account size couldn’t be ascertained at the time of filing the report, industry sources have pegged the account size at upwards of Rs 10 crore.

No official comments from either the client or the agency were forthcoming, however, sources close to the development have confirmed the news.

As reported earlier by exchange4media in June 2009, Max Bupa had called for the pitch and the company was looking for 360-degree campaign idea that traversed across print, TVC, OOH, BTL and the Internet.

Max Bupa Health Insurance Ltd is a joint venture between Max India Ltd and Bupa Group, a a leading UK-based player in the health and care domain with an international presence. Established in 1947, Bupa Group has around 10 million customers in over 190 countries and more than 49,000 employees.
