Mona Jain has put in her papers at VivaKi Exchange after a three-year stint as CEO. She was elevated to CEO of the agency in July 2011. At VivaKi Exchange, she was heading the media buying for VivaKi’s media companies – Starcom MediaVest Group and Zenith Optimedia.
Jain’s next destination is not known.
Jain has around 23 years of experience as a media professional. She started her career as a media trainee with HTA (now JWT) in Delhi. Her first big assignment was working on launch of Pepsi in the country. Post that, she was part of the launch of Samsung in 1995.
She moved to Cheil Communications in February 2003 and was part of the team that set up the in-house media unit for Samsung. She also had a short stint with GSK as General Manager, Media.
